Pretend that there are two books in that picture, as I did check out and read two of them. Blankets, however, got caught up in the return cycle before I photographed it.
These I checked out as travel reading for our trip to Houston. I finished Service Included and started Half Broke Horses on vacation. I've since finished Half Broke Horses and am in the middle of Trail of Crumbs.
At some point, I tweaked my goal again. To recap, my original goal was 52 books, which I hit back in May. So I increased it to 132, which is what I would have read, had I kept up that same pace. But then my sewing has picked up so my reading has decreased. I've set my goal to 100 books and I am on track to hit that, with 90 complete. I knew the 132 was unlikely and I'm still thrilled because not only is 100 books 48 more than my original goal, its about 97 more than last year. So, yay reading!
I'm so impressed with how many books you've read this year! I really should make a goal like that some year. I love to read, but when I think about it, I've probably only read 20-30 books this year, and that doesn't seem like nearly enough!
