My husband picked up baby kitten #2 (and #last) today from the vet. She is doing well, although her surgery requires a longer recovery time than our baby boy's did. Jack (our boy) is incredibly jealous and spent this evening attempting to eat all the food in sight so she couldn't have it. *sigh* Amazingly he hasn't made himself sick.
So tonight was spent attempting to introduce the kittens without Jack attacking Abby (short for Abernathy), Abby clawing Jack, or Abby's stitches being pulled on/out.
We've spent a lot of one on one time with each of them--petting and reassuring--Jack that he is not being replaced, Abby that she is not being abandoned.
Hopefully, since they are both young, it won't take too long for them to adjust and we will have happy, bouncy, kitten playmates in no time. ^_^
Needless to say, no etsying got done tonight. The plan is to etsy like crazy tomorrow after work and especially Saturday, to get ready for the Card Party Sunday-Tuesday. I want to retake a lot of my older pics and retake pics of some of my expired things so I can relist them with shiny pictures. I will probably regroup a lot of the listings--breaking up old sets and recombining them, so not everything will be exactly the same. Additionally, I do have some new cards to throw into the mix.
PS. Kitten pictures tomorrow as I am off to bed right now!
