I apologize for the long hiatus from blogging. My grandmother died and the funeral was this past weekend. My husband and I went up to my parent's house to help prepare for the funeral and just generally provide a shoulder to lean on. My grandmother was 90 and had been ailing for years, so it wasn't a huge surprise, but these things are always hard, especially so close to the holidays.
However, we are back home now and tucking in for a few days before heading out again to celebrate the holidays. I hope to both make some new things and add some things to the shop over the next few days. However, since etsy runs on EST, I doubt I will get something up in the next 1hr 15min as would be necessary in order to have it stamped with today's date.
In addition to my etsy things, I was contacted about a "real job" type position, so I have a phone interview tomorrow morning. *crosses fingers* It would be an awesome position and seems to be well aligned with my education and interests, so we'll see.
