Day 10/365--A New Look

I am attempting a 365 day photo project called "Around the House" for photos of the house and all things in it. Each day I take a photo of something and make a brief post here about the image.

Having given up on finding my charger before I go completely insane from being unable to photodocument things (Like the AMAZING fabric we are recovering the couch with. Or the progress of recovering said couch. Or the HUGE dragonfly that decided to fly into the sunroom tonight. Or, or, or...) I gave in and ordered a new one. So in 1-3 business days I should have my shiny new charger. Not in time for some things (goodbye old couch look) but hopefully in time for enough. In the meantime, I give you more scans of previous renos on our house.

You can see that they re-exposed and refinished the original brickwork, replaced the marble floors with hardwood, and created a gorgeous "hearth". When I can take pictures again, I will have to capture the pretty geometric detailing up top that the refinishing brought out.
