This friendship grows card features a red striped flower with dark green leaves. The bright colors lend a bit of cheer to the somewhat wistful message. I love how clean and fresh this card looks. : )
The bookmark features a small dragonling holding a single rose and blue wire wrapped glass beads. The back is sealed in coordinating blue paper and then signed and dated. I was playing with something a bit different, using the text of a book as the background for the bookmark. I like the effect, but I still have some learning to do with lighting and angles. Someday I am going to have to build a larger light box so that the books will fit in a bit better. I used a hardback book for these shots and it *just* fit.
