On our continuing quest to try new restaurants around town, my hubby and I stopped in at Thai Garden for our Friday night date night a couple of weeks ago.

It doesn't look like much, but the food was wonderful. Inside they have original art by local artists (for sale!) hanging on the walls. Not only is it a great way to support the community but they make for great conversation pieces.
My hubby ordered the Pad Thai.

I ordered a delicious sweet beef dish, served with rice.

Up close and personal.

Both dishes were wonderful. I had a hard time stopping eating when I was full because it was so good, so the hubby was forced to step in and help me out. ^_^
That way I had enough room left for dessert, fresh mango served with sweet rice.

The sweet rice was subtly sweet, a perfect compliment to the ripe mango.
The service was prompt, our server was ever present without being obtrusive, and the restaurant was quiet, making conversation easy, despite being nearly at capacity the entire time we were there.
