The people who owned the house before us were chicken people. There are decoupaged chickens on the stools they left for us. Pictures we've found show chickens in the kitchen window. And then there is this. A chicken dinner bell (I don't get it either) out on the deck. We keep meaning to take it down. After all, we are not chicken people. We are dragon people. Cat people. Turtle people. Tree people. But not chicken people.
