Today the hubby called me to the window, telling me to come quickly there was something I had to see. And so I came, to find him staring out the window, on level with a squirrel who was sitting in a tree in the backyard, busily chomping away on a nut. He saw us watching him and ran down the tree to dig for another nut. As we watched, we also spotted a cardinal, a second squirrel, and several small birds. It's springtime in our little piece of not totally suburbia and I love it.
