When we first set up our computers in the rec room, we knew we would have a cable management issue. We wanted to float the desks into the center of the room and that meant running power and internet to the center of the room, and somehow, keeping the rest of the cables from oozing out from behind the computers. Up until now we have dealt with this by simply keeping them shoved between the desks and the couch. The hubby spent ages routing and twist tying everything when we got it set up...but that only helps so far. Then I stumbled across Blue Lounge's Cable Box and I knew we had a solution. Tonight, we spent some time to get everything set up. I also took some of the overly long, but not needing to route through the cable box cables and taped them to the back of the desk (it's unfinished particle board, I'll live.)
It feels awesome to have that checked off the to-do list! Now I don't need to worry about stepping on them. Or the cats eating them.
