I have some of the best friends in the whole wide world. One of my friends (the one whose
wedding I was in in November) is currently in a internship that is part of a program to get certified to identify diseases for labs. So naturally, when she heard I was to have my gallbladder out, she wanted all the details. It turns out she had just observed the procedure. Anyway, we chatted and she told me what to expect (and later reassured my mom that I would be
fine because apparently my mom didn't believe *me*).
Anyway, imagine my surprise when one day these pretty tulips showed up on our doorstep. They were GORGEOUS. And sweet and thoughtful and wonderful.
But the best thing about it was the note from her and her new hubby "We still love you despite your deficiency." I laughed harder than I had in ages (despite trying not to since I was still tender and it hurt). It was just so her. : D
