Who Hearts Me?

One commonly requested feature on Etsy is the ability for sellers to quickly and easily see which of their items have hearts and how many they have. The current system requires that the seller click on each item and then click on a second link to see how many hearts it has. It's a cute system, and great for buyers (lets you scope out the competition), but it's not very effective for sellers unless they stock relatively few items.

In response to this repeated request, juln, an Etsyian, developed an independent site that will track it for you.

Check it out here: http://www.majaba.org/heartsitems.php

All you have to do is put in the Etsy Seller ID of you shop. This sounds fancy but it's not. Just log into you shop and then look up at the address bar for your shop. You will see that the web address end with a string of numbers. Copy and paste that into the little block at the link above.

If you are super sneaky, like me, bookmark the page After you have input your information. Then when you come back in the future, it will automatically show you your hearts.

And for the curious, you can always put in the IDs of other sellers and see what their hearts look like.

Personally, this little tool is great! Typically, I never bother to check the hearts on my items, because it is such a pain. But now I can do it with just one click! And this page shows all of the same information that Etsy does--user name, icon, and date hearted.

You can also check out the number of people who have hearted your shop recently, your shop's total number of hearts, and the total views each page of your listings has.
